So, you always wanted to daven from the amud?

Well, with G-d's help, I'll be on my way to Yeshiva Sh'or Yoshuv as of Motzei Shabbos. I have been for some time the main davener at Shaarei Tzedek (11th ave and glendale). Not to sound obnixious, the shul could use some help. If anyone is interested in helping out especially newbies to the davening from the amud scene should contact Shaarei Tzedek (see godaven.com). It is quite heimishe, and is a great place to learn to daven as shaliach tzibur (I know from experience). So, come on, why not?

If you know others who are in the area also, tell them about the shul. Shabbos 8:45am everyweek!

Haifa is no more

As of a few days ago, Haifa has been sold to other folks who are switching it to a Mexican restaurant. The Vaad is no longer supervising (though I don't think its open at the moment anyways to boot).
