The Bochur is Back In Town...

BS"D

I am back on break from Yeshiva. Had a great part zman B"H! Glad to not be freezing when I walk outside. Phoenix, what a place! What a great place to move. start/continue families, build the community, and read my blog for whats going in that burgeoning heilege shtetl.

Few Things...

1) Let me start, my discussing some current hashkafa (Jewish philosophy) that I feel is necessary about an issue facing our community for far too long. It is matter well addressed in the Poskim, and Pseudoapyropha, and Cornitians. I think Phoenix needs a Kosher Dunkin Donuts, we need to form a committee or something. Its a matter of grave importance for all Klal Yisrael. Think about it a place to talk 24/7 that serves donuts and coffee, have not I blown ye mind? I am thinking email, a mail campaign, signed documents by all 100,000 are so Jews in the Valley. Maybe contact your congressmen or something.
2) Wow, Pesach is coming up, oh boy. I will be posting details (seder goings on, food sellings around the valley, maybe some Halacha).
3) Moed Katan...that Mesechta doesn't get the kavod it deserves. By the way mid-Pesach, the Daf Yomi Cycle ends Seder Moed in the Gemara with Hagigah (I hear good things) [currently doing Mo'ed Katan]. So, if you ever felt the urge to do the Daf, do it. Its a shorter mesechta, lots of quality aggadata (not that all aggadata is great), and after is Yevamos. Where let's say there is Reuven, Shimon, Shimon's Wife, a shoe, Shimon's older brother, younger brother, and midbrother who is a mentally incapicated and 8 years old, Reuven's wife who is also Shimon's mother, and they all need to go to the dry cleaners without taking two trips. The answer is you are the bus driver...I mean it gets complicated.
4) New Updates: Shuls, Restaurants, Places of Interest
